Tour Details

We'll meet at the designated time in the Getsemaní Shopping Centre in Cartagena de Indias. To kick off this coffee tour, we'll walk along the streets of the city's historical centre while we learn about the importance of this product in Colombia.

We'll explore the fascinating history behind the coffee bean, from its origins in Ethiopia to its arrival in Colombia and the rest of the world. We'll get to know the different types of plantation and collection methods, highlighting the techniques used in the country to harvest high-quality beans.

Along the tour, we'll also delve into the art of roasting, which transforms the green beans into aromatic products rich in flavour. We'll also explore various ways to make good coffee, ranging from the most traditional techniques to the most modern.

To learn more about this delicious product, we'll stop at 3 different cafés, where we'll taste coffees made using different methods: a traditional expresso, an artisanal filtered coffee, and a coffee made in a particularly innovative way.

2 hours later, this unforgettable activity in Cartagena will come to an end. We'll see you soon!
