On this day trip to the Rosario Islands from Cartagena de Indias, we'll explore this hidden corner of the Colombian Caribbean and its incredible marine biodiversity.

Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up at the designated time from your hotel in Cartagena de Indias or from the agreed meeting point. From there, we'll head to the dock to board a speedboat that will take us across the Bahía de las Ánimas.

Little by little, we'll head out into open water on our way to the Rosario Islands. Depending on the option you choose, we'll visit different spots around this archipelago, where lunch will also be included.

Finally, after 8.5 hours, we'll wrap up the excursion at the Marina Todomar dock.

Tour Options

When you make your booking, you can choose one of the following options:

Tour With Hotel Pickup, Cholón Island, and Oceanario

At the designated time, the local team will pick you up from your hotel in Bocagrande or Laguito. If you're staying in another area, we'll meet directly at Muelle de los Pegasos.

In this case, in addition to visiting Cholón Island and the Oceanario (admission not included), we'll make three 1.5-hour stops at Isla Grande, Isla Islabela, and Isla Marina. At Isla Grande, you'll also enjoy a hearty lunch.

The activity will end at Marina Todomar.

Tour Without Hotel Pickup, Without Cholón Island, and With Oceanario

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at Monumento Santander, near Muelle de La Bodeguita – Gate 1.

In this case, we won't visit Cholón Island. Instead, we'll make two scenic stops from the boat: one at Fuerte de Bocachica and another at Mansión Escobar, each lasting about 5 minutes. Next, we'll visit Isla Lizamar to see a small animal habitat. From there, you'll have the option to enter the Oceanario (admission not included). If you'd rather skip the Oceanario, you'll have more free time on the beach.

The route will then continue to a beach club on Isla Grande and, afterward, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch on Isla Marina. The snorkeling activity will take place at any of these stops and includes all the necessary gear.

The activity will always end at Marina Todomar.

Oceanario Admission Not Included

Keep in mind that although transportation to the Oceanario is included in both options, admission to the Oceanario is not included in any of the available options. The ticket price is 40000COP, payable on the day of the activity.
