Description

At 10 am, we'll meet at Via Crociferi 54. Once we're all together, we'll start a walking tour that'll lead us to discover the gastronomic delicacies of Catania. Let's go!

During the tour, we'll stroll through the alleys and squares of the historic centre of Catania while talking about the city's cuisine. We'll also explain how Greek and Arabic cultures, as well as others, have contributed various elements to Sicilian gastronomy.

As we explore the old town and some of its markets, we'll make several stops to enjoy small tastings of typical products such as fried fish or the iconic arancini. You'll love these famous breaded rice balls stuffed with veal, peas and cheese.

Do you have a sweet tooth? We'll put the finishing touch to the experience with some local sweets before saying goodbye.

We'll finish the gastronomic tour of Catania at 1 pm, at the starting point.
